Sprout Boy is here and we are completely overthrown - for the festive period anyway!
To say the peas are fans of Christmas is a massive understatement, huge! We love everything about it, from the nativity, crazy jumpers, glorious festive fare, bling decorations, twinkly lights and good will and cheer that seem intoxicating at this time of year.
We've been getting reasonably excited since early October and the icing on the cake, for me at least, is Christmas tv. The specials - beyond excited for Downton and Stick Man, the films we've all seen before - Muppets Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street and my all time personal fave, Elf.
Of course its not Christmas for me until I've watched The Snowman and seen the first of the festive adverts. John Lewis is always on the money and the world waits with bated breath to see if they can top years gone by.
This year however, we're taking our hats (and antlers) off to Sprout Boy! What a guy, what's not to love. He's got the important job of keeping us entertained between programmes and I have to say - I rather fancy him as the star of the show. So he's green and maybe competition in the cute stakes - but he won us over at 'Hello'. If you haven't seen him in action - do. You won't regret it.
Happy Christmas everyone - it's going to be a good one this year, I can feel it.
